Overall recording quality has improved. Song structures have more variety. Just wished not every song would start so powerfully.

Beneath The Sky What Demons Do To Saints
In my sole opinion, Beneath The Sky produces music of a similar style to that of I Killed The Prom Queen's. While tracks are filled with high, sharp screams, vocal Joey Nelson goes to deep roars at times. There is clear singing during the choruses, and you can expect a lot of catchy breakdowns and rhythmic alterations (sorry, not sure how to professionally term that). This album is no doubt heavy and a definite headbanger.

Emarosa This Is Your Way Out
Responding to foreverlostandfaded, I would probably compare this to The Devil Wears Prada. Not because they are both from Rise Records, but it's the way their songs are mixtures of a lot of things. I dunno how exactly to put it, but the instrumentals, varied rhythms, abnormal fill-ins, a lack of breakdowns, clear singing, and some of the heavy riffs all combined together produce a special sound that metalcore can no longer define. Experimental? Go figure. What I can guarantee is impressiveness and awe.

The Devil Wears Prada Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord
Many people believe that this stuff is "generic." I don't know where those conclusions came from, but to me, it's fresh, it's original, it's better than a lot of other metalcore I've heard out there. There are literally no breakdowns in TDWP songs, and their song structures are varied. Rarely does the listener hear the same thing twice. The vocalist has a wide range of screams and roars, and if you like singing in your metalcore, it's guaranteed as well. For people who haven't made an attempt at the album, I say ignore the critics and give it a shot. ;)

Weak screaming vocals, decent clean vocals, catchy guitar melodies, and occasional breakdowns. This pretty much sums up the whole album. I would say this is on the boundaries of metalcore and post-hardcore. It's fresh to listen to in the first few spins, but the excitement does die down after a while.
For the Fallen Dreams Changes
From A Second Story Window Delenda
Interesting music. The vocalist has a typical death scream and then occasionally produces the pig squeal. Somewhat progressive, the band plays a variety of riffs throughout the album, and doesn't just stick to the usual death metal style. Discordance is a major aspect to the album as well. Overall, the album is satisfactory.

Suicide Silence The Cleansing

Winter Solstice The Fall of Rome
If you like breakdowns and a lot of them at once, prefer all-out screaming without clear-singing or any variation at all, this is the album for you. There's nothing spectacular about the album, yet it's not BAD. Two tracks worth listening to are Following Caligula and Calibrate The Virus.

Machinemade God The Infinity Complex
German-styled melodic metal riffs, breakdowns, and a weak vocal. No clear-singing at all. Average stuff. Sounds a bit like a rip-off of Caliban. Nothing to be excited about.

2.0 poor

1.0 awful
