Gorillaz Humanz
Love this. People have to see that this is Damon's project. The transition of the Gorillaz sound is totally his baby, love it or hate it. If you want new Damon sounding like old Damon, go listen to the Magic Whip (which is also great).
He Is Legend Endless Hallway
Jamie T Trick
Fantastic album from start to finish. Runs the gamut of musical genres from grime to soft ballad.
Jenny Hval The Practice of Love
Jordan Rakei Wallflower
Kelela Take Me Apart
Her mix tape is fire and then this is ice. Super chill.
Kelela Raven

Extremely fun album. Seems to bounce off Hall and Oates cover album as it's a melange of great pop songs that sound like they're from an earlier era.
Thrice Beggars
Wow....there hasn't been a band that I have followed that has been this consistently good

Sophie Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides
Stella Donnelly Beware of the Dogs
Sunflower Bean Headful Of Sugar
Tennis Ritual In Repeat
Still on my first spin but it's great of groovy so far. Production help from some good excellent musicians have made a really good sound on this album (Spoon, the Shins, the Black Keys).
Teyana Taylor K.T.S.E.
The Prodigy The Day Is My Enemy
Thundercat Drunk
Extremely enjoyable. A very unique musician. Apocalypse (LP) is one of my faves.
Tierra Whack Whack World
Toro Y Moi Boo Boo
Toro Y Moi Outer Peace
Tricky Knowle West Boy
Unknown Mortal Orchestra Sex and Food
First track after the intro is a turn-off. Sounds like an unmemorable, poor re-hash of songs they've put out before. The rest of the album is straight banging'!
Weyes Blood Titanic Rising
Zola Jesus Okovi

3.5 great
Eagles Of Death Metal Peace Love Death Metal
Empress Of Us
Nite Jewel Real High
Poppy Am I a Girl?
1's are harsh. Pretty damned good if you enjoy pop music these days. She channels old school Uffie in track 2.
Poppy I Disagree
Poppy Flux
SebastiAn Thirst
Slow Club One Day All Of This Won't Matter Anymore

3.0 good
Chelsea Wolfe Birth of Violence
Eagles Of Death Metal Death By Sexy
FKA Twigs Magdalene
Just "good" after two listens (I'll come back to it for sure). This is in comparison to her other works. It's beautiful but a little too slow.
Let's Eat Grandma I'm All Ears
Metronomy Metronomy Forever
It's better after a few listens. I really disliked it when it first dropped.
Sunflower Bean Twentytwo in Blue
Each song is like a power drill going through your head but the bit is made of sweet, colorful hard candy. It's
super repetitive at times. It's not too creative but it's hard to hate with it's old school rock/pop sound.

2.5 average
The Sword High Country
Wicca Phase Springs Eternal Suffer On

2.0 poor
Coheed and Cambria The Afterman: Ascension
I can't believe how flat the album is, it's definitely not a 1 though. Everytime I think a song is going is going to explode into something magical I'm brought back down.
Deerhunter Double Dream of Spring
Jay-Z The Blueprint 3
Wow this is surprisingly bad, less than half of this album is listenable. Kanye continues his downward trend in quality with his track, he was so good. But I'll stick to Soillaquists and Wale for now, (mainstream) Hip Hop is Dead.
King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard The Silver Cord

1.5 very poor
Hollywood Undead Swan Songs
Janelle Monae Dirty Computer
