Unique drumbeats break the norm of drumming in the rock music of today. The lead vocals are still as able as ever - whether it's screaming or whispering - it's no problem. Of course, the background vocals are always there to repeat important lyrics and to keep everything together. This album features harder sounds in songs such as "State Of The Union." They are still fierce with amazingly structured and deep lyrics. One song, called "Swing Life Away" is an accoustic piece about living a simple life, and not needing all the fancy things, but just needing those breath-taking moments and some loyal and true friends. If you don't buy the album, I would at least search the music video for this.
