Unimpressed with the choice of songs - closing the show with E-Bow and then Popplagið slowed the tone so badly after a great start. And how many times do we have to hear Popplagið live before we start to get annoyed at its inclusion into their setlist? They're really pushing that song to breaking point now.
It pains me to be negative about Sigur Ros as they are such a special band, and it is a reasonably good album that is very well mixed, but in the same style as Stop Making Sense, the crowd noise and acoustic ambience have been almost entirely removed; you might as well listen to the studio versions of these songs. |
