With the current state of the genre today, its always nice to look back a few years at some higher quality material. This was probably one of The Roots' finest efforts. The are so many classic tracks that I find myself listening to over and over. "The Next Movement", "Step into the Realm", "Dynamite", "100% Dundee", "Adrenaline" and "You Got Me", to name but a few. The music is sonically pleasing. The drums, the keys, the bass and BT's vocals are all tight and flow into each other effortlessly. Rahzel and Scratch are the icing on the proverbial cake. It is a rare occurrence when most tracks on an album are just shy of brilliant, but 'Things Fall Apart' is exactly that.
