galactic is one of the most popular bands to come out of new orleans in the past few decades, highly influenced by the likes of the FUNKY METERS, PROFESSOR LONG HAIR, JAMES BROWN, and others. with their supurb skills in the funk, jazz, rock, swing, and second line feels, Galactic manages to put together incredible grooves with perfect time. this album is no different from their others, in that Galactic still has it in them. The drummer, stanton moore, has an amazing feel and touch around the drums, the bassist is heavilly solid in the pocket and doesnt show off that much, if ever.
