Deadbird successfully blends sludge, doom, black metal and good 'ol hard rock into a vibrant album that is nothing short of amazing.
The production is muddy and raw but clear enough to hear all the small things. Clocking in at 47 minutes this gem is long enough to keep you interested but not short enough to leave you unsatisfied. Take your time to listen to it.
It doesnt hurt that the stunning artwork is provided by Baroness frontman John Dyer Baizley. |

| exellent band with alot of heart and soul in it. Love Be My Friend, Allright Now and Fire And Water. Never understood why they didn't create a bigger buzz then they did. Paul Rodgers voice is simply incredible. |

| Fourth time's the charm. This album features more depth in both songwriting and melody than previous releases without sacrificing any of the fourious punk vibe they have become known for. The album might lack songs that are instantly recognizable, but this isnt something you should just listen too song by song. The atmosphere and feel of the album as a whole is what makes it worth listening too. This might just cause blunt force trauma upon listening. |

| Great first album by the swedes in Mando Diao. The album is not very polished and has a garage rock sound to it wich i think is great. Pop but not without balls and rock but not without depth... |

Great album by a heavy band. Not good enough to write reviews so i hope some nice headbanger comes and does it for me.
But one thing i really like is that they are able to combine singing and growling very well(not a fan of growling). |

One of the great NWOBHM bands that has been overshadowed by the likes of mot?ad, iron maiden and diamond head from the same era.
But make no mistake this is fast, hard and heavy. The difference is that it's more classic hard rock then for example iron maiden but just as heavy as diamond head. I dig it... |
