4.0 excellent
Black Label Society Mafia

3.5 great
Shadows Fall Fallout From The War
This is what real metal core sounds like. Unlike Lamb of God which is hard to understand what they're saying. I'm going to review this album as a whole then point out certain tracks I thought were exceptional. I'd heard alot about this band before I bought one of there cd's. I'm glad I chose this one, it is good from most perspectives.

Positives: The drumming is pretty good and the guitar solos are good. You can actually understand the lyrics. Every song does not sound the same. They sure sound alot better than fakes like Korn. They shred in the solos and the pounding of the drums sounds good with the solos. You can really listen to them without them getting repetitive.

Negatives: The solos are a little short. There are some parts where the vocals can be a bit misunderstandable. There aren't too many things I don't like about these guys. I will say that the solos can be covered up by drums and rhythm at times.

Recommended tracks: Dead world, Seize the Calm, and in Effigy. These are my favorite and I would recommend them. Especially Deadworld. In my opinion it's the best one. The others are ok but these are exceptional. Deadworld has no solo, but is very catchy and has a really good sound to it.

To finish it off, I would recommend this album to true metal core fans and people who like to listen to good stuff. Most of it is very good and few of them are excellent. The songs are catchy and although they are short the solos are good.
