I like that they're having Ben contribute to the background vocals more; something I thought that the band had been really lacking up until "A Crow..." Having Chris Kilmore do more auxillary work paid off huge too, in my opinion. And of course, Mike and Jose continue to impress me with the diversity they show in the songs, especially the one's showing off the band's ability to work with more complex time signatures. Anyhow, it's most definitely worth more than one listen, because it's only after that first one do you really pick up on the gems like "Rogues", "Pendulous Threads", "Paper Shoes" and "A Kiss to Send Us Off." The album isn't flawless, but it's got some great licks. Looking forward to seeing these guys in Cleveland.Nine Inch Nails With TeethTool Ænima3.5 greatQueens of the Stone Age Songs for the Deaf3.0 goodPanic! at the Disco A Fever You Can't Sweat OutThis one was stuck in my CD player for a few days. These guys can put together some awesome songs! And I wouldn't call them emo either.
