5.0 classic
DragonForce Sonic Firestorm
Ahh, Dragonforce. Need I say more? Sonic Firestorm starts off with a barrage of musicianship and doesnt stop throughout the entire album.
Misery Signals Of Malice and the Magnum Heart
In a genre where the music is repetitive and uninspired Misery Signal's debut release stands out and breaks the mold. The best prase to describe Of Malice.... is "ambient hardcore." It has a sort of dreamy atmosphere while the brutality of the drumming and jesse's voice presses down perfectly over it.
Protest the Hero Kezia
I have always been a fan of Protest the Hero, even when they were a tiny indie metal band in Canada. As soon as this album dropped i had it. It is an amzing album from an amazing band that really grew up and matured in their style of playing and writing.
Thrice The Artist in the Ambulance
I think that this album is the most solid and original release from Thrice to date. It flows from beggining to end with heavy songs that are bronken by more poppy song like Stare at the Sun and The Artist in the Ambulance.

4.5 superb
As I Lay Dying A Long March: The First Recordings
August Burns Red Thrill Seeker
Thrill Seeker is exactly what a debut album should be. It pins ABR right in the hardcore scene. although its lack of diversity keeps it from a 5 in my opinion they manage to keep it intesting through out with thier fast-paced brekdowns and interesting guitar fills. I got to see these guys live and it was great. Their drummer it quite impressive.
Avenged Sevenfold Waking The Fallen
Avenged Sevenfold City Of Evil
City of Evil is hated by almost all close minded fools. This album is pure genious. Every member does a very impressive job. most noticably is Synyster Gates' style of writing on this album. Every of the song's guitar work is of a different style and has a different feel. The Rev is an amazing drummer too.

Chiodos All's Well That Ends Well
Chiodos is one of those "high pitched vocal" band. I thought it would be like all the others but I was gravely mistaken when i heard the originality and flow of this album. Not a bad live show to boot.
Drop Dead, Gorgeous In Vogue
Escape the Fate Dying Is Your Latest Fashion
From First to Last Heroine
HORSE the band The Mechanical Hand
HORSE the band is the most original band i have ever heard. I think Nintendocore is the perfect caterigory for this band. The Mechanical Hand is very strange at times. The guitarist has a good connection with the synth player and they show this thoughout the album with various harmonies and technicality.
In Flames Clayman
Killswitch Engage Alive or Just Breathing
Killswitch Engage The End of Heartache
Lamb of God Ashes of the Wake
Misery Signals Mirrors
When lead vocalist Jesse Zaraska parted his way from the band, Misery Signals replaced him with one, Karl Schubach and released Mirrors. Karl's voice gives the band a sort of tough guy hardcore sound like Bury Your Dead. They ambiance and meledy is still here though. Despite a few meaty breakdowns Mirrors is a decent follow up to Of Malice...

HORSE the band Pizza
A lame effort from an excellent band. I always knew HORSE the band for their originality and their difficulty to be categorized but this album is generic and boring.
