Not to be an asshole or anything, but I think most of you are completely missing the point of many of these songs. You'd probably guess Take This Life is about suicide, right?
It's not, just like the album isn't built for people who easily understand music. Read the lyrics, listen to the guitar, and pay attention to the drumming. Everything is harmonious, and extremely well executed. But even moreso than the epic drumming, or the shredding vocals, I think this album has some potent meaning, style, and passion. Not many bands have done what In Flames has done, and if you think this album is crap, don't post it on here. You obviously have no ear for music. |
