| been a 311 for years...they have influnced me beyond what i can imagine as a musician, and have opened the door for me to many diff genres of music. that said, I have to say this album is not much better that dtom which was prob thier weakest effort to date. unfortunalty, 311 seems to be losing their creative steam, they are just not the same band that they were in the 90's. I mean thats fine, bands change and evolve, but theres something about it..the song structures, the lyrics, whatever it is, that just screams to me a lack of effort. this is better than dtom but not by much. There are some highlights here..its alright is a great radio frindly single, but what really makes the song is pnuts bass solo. other standouts are diasy cutter, neverending summer, and jackpot. 3/5 |

| I think Duvall is a great vocalist and replacement of Layne, and hes phenomenal live..but listening to this twice through now, nothing much has caught my attention aside from 2 or 3 pretty good tracks, the rest is average to me. Thats it in a "nutshell" har har. |
