5.0 classic
Joy Division Closer
Joy Division Unknown Pleasures
Judas Priest Defenders Of The Faith

4.5 superb
Dire Straits Brothers In Arms
Joy Division Substance
Joy Division Permanent
Judas Priest Screaming For Vengeance
Judas Priest Sad Wings Of Destiny
Judas Priest Unleashed In The East
Even though most of it was recorded in the studio and not live, it still rocks. Most songs on here are more energetic and heavier than their original versions. A very enjoyable live album.
Opeth Blackwater Park
Opeth Damnation
Overkill The Years of Decay
Superb album. For a thrash album there's enough variety, like the doomish "Playing With Spiders/Skullkursher" and the ballad "The Years of Decay". Together with Metallica's "Ride The Lightning" the best thrash album ever made (in my opinion).
Rage Against the Machine Rage Against the Machine
Saint Vitus Born Too Late
The Cure Pornography
This album is best described as a nightmare. It sounds really scary and it feels like you're listening to a nightmare. It is one of the darkest albums ever (along with Joy Division's Closer), just listen to One Hundred Years (It doesn't matter if we all die) and the title song. If that doesn't send shivers down your spine...
The Velvet Underground The Velvet Underground & Nico

Black Sabbath Born Again
Black Sabbath Master of Reality
Candlemass Epicus Doomicus Metallicus
Deep Purple Deep Purple In Rock
Earth Earth 2: Special Low Frequency Version
Iggy Pop The Idiot
Iron Maiden Powerslave
Iron Maiden Somewhere In Time
One of the lesser albums of Iron Maiden from the 80's for me. It's not bad (Iron Maiden never made a bad album in my opinion), but a few songs on here are stretched out too much and are too long, like Heaven Can Wait. Well, then the positive things. The use of synthesizers is perfect here, it gives the album a futuristic, dreamy atmosphere (which makes the album good to relax/sleep to). And most of all: it doesn't sound commercial (like on Turbo by Judas Priest). Also, Bruce Dickinson's singing is (in my opinion) at it's best here and there are some very enjoyable melodies.
Judas Priest Stained Class
Kyuss Welcome To Sky Valley
Kyuss Blues For The Red Sun
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin IV
Manowar Battle Hymns
Battle Hymns is best described as a metal-clich?It has fast guitar solo's, pounding riffs, high over the top singing and lyrics about fast driving with motorcycles, sex and heavy metal. The first half of this album consists of catchy singalong metalsongs, while the other half is more epic and musically better. A great album, but unfortunately the only real good, consistent album by Manowar.
Manowar Hail To England
Megadeth Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?
Metallica Ride The Lightning
Normally I like Thrash songs only, but Thrash albums are too repetitive for me because they have no variation. This album is an exception. There's enough variation to keep me listening. And every song on this album is very catchy. In my opinion the best Thrash-album ever.
Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells
Motorhead Ace Of Spades
Motorhead Overkill
Motorhead Another Perfect Day
Om Conference of the Birds
Queen Sheer Heart Attack
Rainbow Rising
Saint Vitus Saint Vitus
Saint Vitus Hallow's Victim
Slayer South Of Heaven
In my opinion this is Slayer's best album. Yes, I think it's better than Reing In Blood because I don't like those very short and very fast songs. This album contains everything Slayer does well: fast thrashing songs like Silent Scream and more evil sounding songs like South Of Heaven (my favorite Slayer song) and Spill The Blood.

2.0 poor
Black Sabbath Never Say Die!
Cathedral Forest Of Equilibrium
Judas Priest Rocka Rolla
Manowar Sign Of The Hammer
Nirvana Nevermind
In my opinion the most overrated album ever. Smells Like Teen Spirit and Lithium are great songs... And there you have it. The rest is boring, nothing special.
Saint Vitus Mournful Cries
A very disappointing album after the great "Born Too Late". None of the songs really stand out (except maybe The Creeps) and the guitar solos really suck on this album. And even though the album only lasts 33 minutes I found it very hard to listen to the album from the beginning to the end.
Venom At War with Satan

1.5 very poor
