Symbols is a prog metal classic from a band that deserves far more attention than they've received and has been around far too long to not be noticed. This album has all of the superb musicianship that you would expect from a prog band, but the wankery and cheesiness is replaced by some awesome riffing and a darker feel than most prog metal has. If you like bands like Fates Warning or early Queensryche, you owe it to yourself to listen to this. |
