The guitar tandem of Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman has never been better. The solos are ripping, the rhythm couldn't be any tighter, Menza couldn't pound away in any better way. The lyrics are good, and the songwriting is great. Just an absolute must have classic for everyone.Megadeth Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?Metallica Ride the LightningPavement Crooked Rain, Crooked RainPorcupine Tree In AbsentiaSonic Youth Daydream NationThe Doors The DoorsTom Waits Rain Dogs4.5 superbBuilt to Spill You in ReverseThis is just a great album, all of the instrumentation is spot on. I love how the band uses three guitar players, you can get some really interesting and complex lines this way. The songwriting is very nice, and the playing just floors me. There is a good mix of variety in the music, though you can definately tell it is all from one band.Butch Walker The SpadeIncubus (USA-CA) Morning ViewManic Street Preachers The Holy BibleMegadeth Countdown to ExtinctionMegadeth Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good!Metallica Master of PuppetsMetallica ...And Justice for AllSay Anything ...Is A Real Boy (re-release)Slayer Reign in BloodThe Libertines Up The BracketThrice BeggarsWeezer Pinkerton4.0 excellentArcade Fire Neon BibleDispatch Bang BangIncubus (USA-CA) A Crow Left of the Murder...Megadeth The System Has FailedMegadeth Cryptic WritingsMegadeth So Far, So Good... It consists of hard rock/metal guitar playing, jazzy drumming, funky bass playing, and a singer who can sing however the hell he wants to. You can still here the Mr. Bungle influence that Incubus cites in this album. It isn't as weird as fungus but the music is even better.
