God Forbid Gone Forever
Pure greatness is all over this CD. It was here that everything clicked for God Forbid: vocal delivery, riffs, melody, song structure, and the DELICIOUS leads of Doc Coyle. Living Nightmare is my favorite song by them and I'm STUNNED it's not a staple in their set list. One of the best metal albums in the last decade, this is one to pick up!

Got Testament's greatest hits, said "Man their old stuff's great but it sounds like CRAP!" Enter First Strike Still Deadly. EVERY SONG is given a punishing 21st century facelift and Chuck Billy sounds better than ever. Still despise Skolnick's lead tone (he's a great player though) but everything else rocks so hard I overlook it!

Iced Earth The Crucible Of Man
When I heard "Barlow's back," you could have pushed me over and I'd have still been as happy as I've ever been about music. When I saw Barlow's first performance back in Iced Earth, he was top notch and the atmosphere was purely electric. I could not WAIT for "Crucible of Man" to come out. What a SNOOZEFEST this album turned out to be! The most boring riffs Schaffer has ever put on a CD coupled with so much layering of Barlow that it takes away ALL of the power in his voice make this hands down one of the worst albums I've ever heard.
