Goldfrapp Black Cherry
Goldfrapp has radically changed its overall sound from "Felt Mountain", going from Chamber Pop to Electropop. Adrian Utley from Portishead is a guest musician on "Train", which was used on 2004 Nintendo adverts. You can still hear downtempo tracks on "Black Cherry", most notably "Hairy Trees".

4.0 excellent
Goldfrapp Supernature
We heard Goldfrapp's transformation from Chamber Pop to Electropop, but Goldfrapp has changed their sound even more on this album. The opening track, "Ooh La La", sports glam rock influences and this is Goldfrapp's first album featuring electric guitars. This album sounds poprockish, one of its weaknesses. This album would be greatly improved if it they arranged the playlist better. Putting the weakest tracks in the middle of the album really gives me the urge to use the skip button. "Lovely 2 C U" shouldn't be the second track. Overall, I still think this album is worthy of an album of the year award, even though I agree that this is my least favorite album.
