The Faceless Planetary Duality
To the person who said they went downhill with this album, i don't think they did at all. The new album is in no way generic... Its faster, more progressive, and just overall differerent from the last album. What, did you want a remake of Akeldama? I sure didn't, i wanted to hear something new and they brought something new.
This album is amazing. From the drumming to the solos to the vocalist, everything is good. It might be too fast for some people, but i am digging it. It's very fast but stays tasteful, and thats what counts. Most bands trying to do the whole fast thing are just not tasteful.
I just saw the faceless live last night in pensacola. One of the best live bands ive ever seen/heard. Mike played every solo note for note with no mistakes. His tone was great, and cut through perfectly.
This album deserves a classic rating, because it is nothing less than classic.

Rose Funeral The Resting Sonata
Meh, lots of recycled breakdowns and riffs. Generic deathcore at its finest.
Theres some catchy parts and catchy/heavy breakdowns, but they are recycled from Crucify.Kill.Rot.
Nothing new at all here.
They put on a damn good live show though, i WILL give them that. Top notch equipment = great sound quality( ENGL POWERBALL / PEAVEY6505 / Fancy bass rig ) + good solid performance, granted the music isnt hard to play, but whatever.
