August Burns Red Messengers
I got the album in the mail last night and i havent stopped listening since. ABR really did a superb job with this album.
First of all, Thrill seeker, the preceding album, was a great album. The fact that they actually out-did it ,is amazing. The band really stepped up their game. Matt's drums are fast, heavy, carry the songs well, and his drumming is improved greatly. I can tell that he has developed a greater feel for groove and how to really move the song. The drums fit the songs like a glove. The strings ,as always, are great and technical. The strings are heavier when they need to be and melodic when they need to be. I am especially impressed with the lead parts. The lead parts stand out much more then they did in thrill seeker and they are unforgettable. The greatest improvement has to be in the vocals. With their new singer, ABR added an amazing new dimension to their vocals. EVen though their is no clean, its still amazing. The highs are incredible and the lows make you wanna shit your pants. The chants that they have are great along with the lyrics. They have some great lyrics especially in "11th hour" and "redemption". Overall i think Messengers is an album that YOU MUST BUY.Give them credit and pick up the record, they worked their ases off ,and it definetely shows.

My favorites:
Back Burner
Composure
The Eleventh Hour
Redemption
