| I enjoyed The Best of Times, however, I just don't like when Dream Theater tries to do straight metal. Also, why do Portnoy and Petrucci have to do background vocals on every song? They sound terrible and it hurts the song in my opinion. There were definitely some great instrumental sections on this album and solos were fantastic as usual, but even then they sounded somewhat rehashed from older material. |
