It's a good noise though, one that describes a band's humble beginnings. Basically, the vibe around "Bleach" is dark and sludgy. During the time "Bleach" was released, drummer Chad Channing was the main drummer, Dale Crover of The Melvins drummed on "Floyd the Barber", "Paper Cuts", and "Downer". Channing did the drumming that defined Nirvana's sound on the other ten songs. The combination of these two drummers makes Bleach stand out even more, with the trippy bass drumming of Channing, the relentless beating of Crover's snare. This album is a definete buy, there is nothing wrong with any of the tracks. It is pure Nirvana. Sometimes reffered to as their best album, Bleach is something any music lover will enjoy.
