Green Day American Idiot
I actually thought this record wasn't all that bad as everyone makes it out to be, I maybe even think to myself I rated it a little too low. Green Day have approached a new era in their career and good luck to them, they don't choose the fans they get, so I really see all this Green Day hating as a bit misled. Green Day haven't sold out, if they did, it was on Dookie.
I'd prefer to have money and be recognised worldwide, than to be a nobody.
Green Day Shenanigans
Green Day Bullet In A Bible
Although this gig was superb, and I do feel like I was there when either listening to the CD or watching the DVD, I just feel hugely ripped off about the fact the whole gig isnt on there. And although the documentary is pretty informative and interesting, I think it kills the fluidness (is that even a word?) of the gig, I'd much prefer it if the two were in different sections. It's also pretty good value for money too actually.
Less Than Jake In with the Out Crowd
Less Than Jake, one of my all time favourite ska bands, whatever happened to them? Well, being a ska band, they sure don't put the horn section to much use anymore. I loved old Less Than Jake, I really mean that. Now they've just turned into a generic Pop-Punk band with the occasional horn interlude. People say I have to accept them as a Pop-Punk band now, but after years of the ska, I just can't let that go.
