| The Crusade isn't original by any means. Trivium show on this album a very Metallica like sound. It doesn't have to be a bad thing however. Trivium still have some good solos, and there halftime catchy choruses, this tme with better riffage, and Hetfield like vocals replacing the screams. Some songs are also very sleazy sounding showing the influence of Paulo in the song writing on this record. I think this was an improvement for Trivium. Do your best to ignore the media and hype and give this album a go. |
