I'm simultaneously sad and grateful that I can relate to Caleb's arc of learning to love yourself + treat yourself and your body better as you grow older. He's always been so good at letting his emotions show through his vocals, and I find it so incredibly powerful to hear him shift into self acceptance and contentment.rI would also like to say on record that the music videos for this record have been interesting because they visually show Caleb changing while his world remains the same. like familiar metalcore-y mv tropes for settings. I hope that for the next album we'll get to see him in new environments, taking us with him to all the new places he's exploring since coming out publicly. I'm torn on multiple fronts; love that this is a body of work that actually tells us about Adela, who apparently loves a submissive and breedable man, but unfortunately she's also a bit too into recreating 2016 ariana grande vibes. I'm the man, marijuana, + nicole kidman were ofc added to my rotation + so happy to see nicole kidman have its moment
