The lead single Cold Comfort might be my favorite song of 2025 so far. The one-two punch of Redwood Creek to Palos Hills, with great female vocal leads supported by Thymme--who himself has a wonderful singing voice--is just great stuff. I hope this band never stops making music. They advertised this as their best record yet and it's true that it certainly ranks among their best. But there's just something about that Salad Days record. It's one of my favorite LPs of all time.
