As a massive fan of their previous album, the first half of this album actually disappointed me a bit. The second half shines more of a light on their lead guitar and the heavier/proggier elements of their sound which, for me at least, is their strength.

Linkin Park From Zero
If someone told me last year "Linkin Park is gonna release a new album next year with a new lead
singer", I could have guaranteed you it's reception would be around a 2.5 here and middling-to bad
from other internet reviews (unless it's offensively bad like One More Light, but it's not).
Didn't think there'd be a scientology controversy but whatever.

In reality, it's a good reintroduction with a solid mix of styles from their past albums (besides,
OML thankfully). It's obviously not Hybrid Theory or Meteora levels of good/groundbreaking, but
it's solidly Hunting Party-level. And most importantly, they sound like Linkin Park.

Charli XCX Brat
I was told by a friend to listen to this because I like CHVRCHES. I don't know if I'm friends with that person anymore. Von Dutch gave me a headache and it never got better.
Geese Getting Killed
My buddy killed a goose playing golf once. He hit a liner 3 feet off the ground in the wrong direction of the hole straight into a flock nailing one in the neck. The other geese around started honking and circling the dying goose. It was extremely sad. But then my buddy walked up next to the dead goose, shooed the other geese away, found his ball, and hit a 200 yarder right onto the green. One of the coldest things I've ever seen.
Imminence This Is Goodbye
Lil Uzi Vert Pink Tape
Towards the "so bad it's good" territory, because I was thoroughly entertained through most
of it. "I got brain damage, but they overlook cus I got cash" explains a lot. But seriously,
it's pretty awful. Making a song using a top tier wrestling theme, making another using a
Justice song, karaoke-ing SOAD, and having BMTH and Babymetal make a song isn't "creative
genius". I can also make an eclectic album by using my favorite genres/songs and making
noises over them and/or covering them; said album would also suck.

RedHook Postcard From a Living Hell
Sleep Token Take Me Back to Eden
Tones and I Welcome to the Madhouse
It's bad because it's unbelievably boring and generic. And because the only positive thing I can say about it is that it's inoffensive and that I've heard worse. But that's a lot of pop music tbf. And I don't find her voice irritating like others, so there's that.
Wage War Stigma

1.0 awful
Asking Alexandria Where Do We Go from Here?
This band is impressively bad. First half of the album was bad. Second half was implausibly way worse. They somehow take the worst things from 5 or so genres, put it all together, and make it as boring, cliche, or irritating as possible.
Imagine Dragons LOOM
Linkin Park One More Light
Machine Gun Kelly Tickets to My Downfall
Sleep Token Even in Arcadia
"Similar Bands: Spiritbox, Tesseract, Periphery" ...please don't insult these 3 bands like this.
Most of this is just unimpressive/uninteresting softcore porn music. I'd honestly rather have a
dying giraffe named Clarence as the lead singer.
