Beast In Black Dark Connection
Collateral (ENG) Collateral
How did a band that only recently formed and barely has 3000 monthly listeners on Spotify make a
debut album that slaps so damn hard!? It has not a single flop, is amazingly mixed, and sounds
like an album made by a band that has already existed for 20 years. Their style is also really
unique, combining gritty southern rock, glam rock and metal.
Eclipse (SWE) Wired
One of the best rock albums of the last decade, standing right beside other phoenixes like
H.E.A.T, Collateral, CREYE and Kissin' Dynamite. It is notable that this is real AOR though, so
it's harder than the other artists I just mentioned. Eclipse has an extremely iconic sound, great
melodies and amazing singing. The lyrics are also really good. The album starts with Roses On Your
Grave, which is an immediate bop. Every other song after this is also amazing, but Carved in
Stone, Saturday Night (Hallelujah), Run for Cover and Twilight completely steal the show.
Immediate must-have for any rock fan.
Eclipse (SWE) Paradigm
H.E.A.T. Force Majeure
H.E.A.T. Address The Nation
Could very well be the best rock album to date. Every song is catchy, different from each other
and still amazing. Some songs are a bit experimental (Downtown), but even those songs are good.
Living On The Run, In And Out Of Trouble and Better Off Alone steal this synthy-rock show.
H.E.A.T. H.e.a.t II
Jamie N Commons Rumble and Sway
Kissin' Dynamite Not The End Of The Road
Melodic Rock at its finest, and also their best album. The consistency is really good, and is at an almost consistent high. Could do without the girly voice whispering ''Yoko Ono" in the song with the same name though, as it kind of ruins what is one of the best rock songs I have ever heard.
Set It Off Elsewhere
Giving it a 5 to balance out the unfair 1s. The album is very much pop, but songs like Skeleton, Why Do I and Projector are amazing though.
