I don't hear anything groundbreaking on this album; just more of what one might expect from this band. Filthy disgusting
riffs with rhythmic patterns that mimic a bus tumbling down a cliffside in slow motion. If you like their other stuff, you'll love
this. If you don't, this definitely won't do anything to win you over. To me, there just isn't enough variation in the sound to
make anything stand out. It all just runs together. There are plenty of cool riffs, but for me personally, more variety in
tonality and/or tempo would've go a long way in making this a more interesting listen. |
