| Maybe it?s me, but there?s a depth and introspection to this album that stands out from a lot of Clutch?s recent releases. Sure, it has your expected songs like ?Red Alert (Boss Metal Zone)?, but for every one of those, there?s a ?Mercy Brown? or ?Mountain of Bone.? A hint of seriousness from a band that?s normally focused on quirky lyrics and having a good time. Maybe the last few years have changed Clutch a little bit. I, for one, think it?s a great step for this rock juggernaut. |
