Idk this album rips. The highs are such that they make up for I Fly and Circle Through. Mask of Sanity is sneaky one of their best songs ever.

The only tracks dragging this down from a 5 are souvenir and I think about you all the time. souvenir is just kind of boring to me and thank God it's the only track where Chino really stretches his range to where it sounds bad, which was a big issue on Ohms. Other than that, this is an immaculate collection of songs coming from a band almost 30 years into their career.

Project 86 OMNI, Pt. 1
This is such a difficult album to be objective
about. On one hand this is the heaviest and most
experimental the band (and by band I mean Andrew)
has ever sounded. It's the best album this new
lineup has put out. But how much of this is really
just Andrew with Norma Jean? The old lineup ran
it's course after ..and the Rest, which was a
great final showing for the OG lineup but after
that Andrew ran the show for better or
worse. I wish the P86 name would have been buried
because it just never felt the same. DBL is and
always will be the best album and always deserved
a bigger following than it got. I really enjoy the
vocals on this album and I wish previous albums
would have leaned more into that style. All things
considered Omni is a great album and even though
it's not really Project 86, on its own what Andrew
and co. created as a send off cements P86 as one
of the most underrated and interesting bands in
the scene.

God I'd love to see a proper review for these albums. They are fantastic. Such a slept on band for the last 20+ years.

While not as good as Euthanasia, it's still an excellent send-off. Bodies in the Dark is

If there is a good song here, you'd be hard
pressed to find it in what might be the
worst produced album I've heard in recent
times. I don't even want to rate this
because it's almost un-listenable. Truly
terrible. They should just go
back to self produced cause Alien and
Obsidian sound fantastic.
