Hypocrisy is a very, very good melodeath band. They aren't remotely as good a straight death metal
band, and unfortunately 80% of the songs in this album are death metal songs. Apart from the
closer "Deathrow", which is brilliant and really stands out, the only other tracks worth
mentioning from this uninspired, repetitive mess IMO are "Fire in the Sky" and "Unfold the
Sorrow", which are both very good. Probably one of the worst Hypocrisy albums, which is a real
shame considering what this band is capable of in terms of Melodic Death Metal. |
