5.0 classic
Converge Jane Doe
All I need to say is that it's Jane Fucking Doe.
Rob The Universe The Leviathan
What a fantastic trip through a spiraling album chock-full of DMT and LSD-esque psychedelic
thoughts. The instrumentals are also fantastic, mixing these acoustic riffs with boom-bap beats.
This album is also just fuckin' nuts. There's a song about an alien falling in love with a
drunkard (The Stranger), a song about aliens almost destroying Earth (That Beauty is a
Seed of Truth
), and a song about people discussing their beliefs before dying (The
Gathering
). Overall, just check this album out, it's a trip.
The Dillinger Escape Plan One of Us Is the Killer
Probably the greatest TDEP record. Listen to this. Now.
TTNG Animals
Math rock at its peak. These emo/indie vocals paired with these virtuoso instrumentals pretty much makes a sentimental math rock record. It's mind-bending, and its ambition (and influence on other bands) is amazing.
ZILF The Album
A seamless mix of mathcore, nu metal, pop, alt metal, and everything else under the sun,
ZILF has created something magical here with The Album. A 46-minute barrage of catchy
hooks, poetic lyrics, and the most unique vocal duo I've heard in a long time, The Album
deserves more attention than it has right now. Overall, it is, in fact, The Album.

4.5 superb
Gort and Caretaker Two
A blast to the past, Gort and Caretaker creates a unique and nostalgic blend of indie, punk, pop, electronic, and a little bit of folk and prog. My only critique is that I wish this album was as varied as their previous release, One
Greyhaven This Bright and Beautiful World
The only way I can describe this is Empty Black: Tokyo Drift.
SOUL GLO Diaspora Problems
This record physically exhausted me. Highly recommended. This record is going to redefine punk.
The Dillinger Escape Plan Dissociation
The most experimental record TDEP has done, Dissociation presents a lot to the table, and most of it is fantastic. While Fugue is a good track, as I do like electronic music, it feels slightly out of place. Still, tracks like Low Feels Blvd and Honeysuckle are masterpieces. R.I.P. TDEP 1997-2017
Two Brothers Star Thief

4.0 excellent
Alexis Marshall House of Lull. House of When
It's a fantastic record, it's noisy, punchy, and disturbing. However, it doesn't hold a candle to his previous project with Daughters, You Won't Get What You Want. Also, fuck you Lex, you're a terrible person.
Gort and Caretaker One
Nuvolascura As We Suffer From Memory and Imagination
A fresh breath of fresh air for screamo, Nuvolascura combines high-pitched screams with these almost disgusting guitars to create something that could come out of a horror movie. And this isn't a bad thing. These screams and instrumentals are oddly beautiful. Even though I do think some fat could be trimmed on this record, it's still one I'd highly recommend.
Rolo Tomassi Where Myth Becomes Memory
Another great effort from Rolo Tomassi, however, I don't think this record is as good as Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It. I think this album too closely follows the formula that was established in Time Will Die, however, it's not executed as well. It's still a fantastic record, however, I just enjoyed Time Will Die more.
The Fall of Troy Doppelganger
The Fall of Troy Manipulator
The God Awful Truth Memory Palace
While The God Awful Truth strays slighty during the short runtime of this record (My Flesh
Moves Like Liquid
and Multiple Miggs are great examples of this), most of these tracks
should be considered the best of the best whenever mathcore is brought up. Just listen to
Abbott is A Death Process, you'll get it.
Zuntata Space Invaders Infinity Gene: Evolutional Theory
A fantastic companion to the game, this record is 70+ minutes of pure electronic prowess. It even includes elements of noise and ambient, strange for a soundtrack to a Space Invaders game. Overall, a surprisingly good record to accompany a surprisingly amazing game.

3.5 great
Carpenter Brut Leather Terror
p.s.you'redead Sugar Rot
The Fall of Troy OK
While mainly in-focus the entire time, dry mixing and somewhat-uninspired tracks bog this record down. However, tracks like Inside Out and Your Loss are some of the greatest The Fall of Troy tracks, in my opinion.
The Fall of Troy The Fall of Troy
A surprising debut, The Fall of Troy impresses heavily, but below average mixing and tracks like Spartacus and The Adventures of Allan Gordon sets back this record. However, tracks like The Circus That Has Brought Us Back To These Nights (Yo Chocola) and F.C.P.S.I.T.S.G.E.P.G.E.P.G.E.P. are absolutely amazing.

3.0 good
(hed) p.e. Califas Worldwide
It's...good? I really didn't expect this album to be good, to be honest. It's certainly hed's most interesting album yet. It's a mishmash, but it works... I think. Overall, Califas Worldwide impresses, which was a huge surprise.
Cypress Hill Back In Black
Cypress Hill returns to their roots. While I enjoyed this record, it's forgettable at times. It's an "average" Cypress Hill record. It's not re-inventing the wheel, but it doesn't need to.
Greg Puciato Mirrorcell
As much as I loved Child Soldier: Creator of
God
, this record is far from how ambitious
and breathtaking that record was. The first
half feels quite generic, only carried by
Puciato's fantastic vocals, but the last four
tracks are honestly fantastic, and lend
themselves well to Puciato's style. However,
the last four tracks don't seem to reach the
highs that Creator of God did, and the
rest of the record goes well past the lows of
Creator of God In short, it should've
been a 4-track EP. Oh well.
The Fall of Troy Mukiltearth
While The Fall of Troy impress with the final four tracks, they seem stuck in the past. While re-recording Martyrs Among The Casualties was a good call, fans have been clamoring for it, I would've preferred a record full of original material.
Vein.fm This World Is Going to Ruin You
While a good record in it's own right, This World is Going to Ruin You ultimately
suffers from a lack of progression in sound, and a lack of ambition. In fact, this record
seems stripped back compared to 2018's Errorzone. Still good, just not as
good as Errorzone.
Zeal and Ardor Zeal and Ardor
While I prefer Z&A's previous releases, this record still impresses, even if it can feel uninspired and bland at times.

2.5 average
Red Hot Chili Peppers Unlimited Love
Unambitious, unimaginative, uninspired, but still funky as hell.
The Fall of Troy In the Unlikely Event
The Fall of Troy loses their grip on this record. It's edgy, all in the bad ways. However, the instrumentals still impress, and some tracks like Walk of Fame can still be enjoyed... kinda. Also, the demo track on the Deluxe version, The Vomiting Winter, is fantastic, and it's a shame it didn't make it on the record.
Tyler, the Creator Goblin
Even though this record has talent behind it, it's incredibly hard to take Tyler seriously here. Most of these tracks are average with a glimpse of hope shining through sometimes. However, Tyler has more than improved since this record full of middle school shock humor.

2.0 poor
3rd Secret 3rd Secret
I really want to like this record, but I just can't. I mean, it's a wet dream supergroup! However, this album disappoints on almost every level. I... I need a minute.
Bloc Party Alpha Games
Bloc Party, what happened? This is still better than Hymns, but come on guys, you can do better than this.
Kanye West Donda 2
I do like the experimentation, but Kanye's pretentiousness (and his audacity to release a $200 stem player) takes over anything great here. I'm just gonna listen to Yeezus again and pretend like this never dropped.
Swedish House Mafia Paradise Again
While I'm sure some people out there would like to travel back to the mid-2000's (when cookie-cutter house beats were the shit) this album ultimately suffers from a runtime that is too long, and like ajcolllins15 said, this group was never "album-ready".

1.5 very poor
Jack Harlow Come Home The Kids Miss You
I've always seen Jack Harlow as one of those other run-of-the-mill terrible modern rappers. This record further pushes that belief.
Papa Roach Ego Trip
"Are you stupid, are you blind?" Can I be deaf, too? Even though this record reminds be of better times (when I wasn't a depressed sack of potatoes), Ego Trip is still hard to sit through.

1.0 awful
Jake Paul and Team 10 Litmas
One of my friends on Discord sent me this album as a joke, and they told me not to listen to it. I did, and I wish I was deaf. It should be a crime to put out an album like this. I would rather get pummeled to death by a brick wielded by a maniac. I would rather have an elephant jump on me, or a horse kick me in my balls, or anything else to happen to me. It's that bad.
Kid Rock Bad Reputation
This record proves that Kid Rock makes music for people who know what the legal limit for buying Ivermectin is in each state.
Machine Gun Kelly Mainstream Sellout
MGK proves that he still can't make pop-punk. I expected this record to be listenable, at least, but terrible lyrics, guitars, etc., etc., makes this album a chore to sit through. Ugh.
Three Days Grace Explosions
Ha ha ha ha ha, this album is hilarious! Wait, this wasn't released as a joke?
