Kendrick Lamar Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers
do you guys think the "big steppers" are the predominant figures that strove outside the expected confines of black culture that he referenced in the Heart 5's video? If so, is Kendrick meant to be Mr Morale? The lyricism expressed discontent with his reception in black culture and how little impact he's had compared to these big steppers in spite of the fact that some of them have also done so much harm and it's obvious that he wants them to want him.
