Catchy tunes, frenetic instrumentation, influences of punk/drum n' bass/hip-hop/surf-rock and more. A crazy combination that sees the Shears brothers put together their most cohesive, but digestible project yet.

And So I Watch You From Afar Jettison
I think this one is going to age well. Their journey as a band started with a bang and
became more and more refined over time, maturing at its peak on their last LP, The Endless
Shimmering. I think this is another step forward for ASIWYFA, even if it isn't as hard-
hitting as their recent work, there's a lot of dynamic range with this project. Their
ability to incorporate strings was hinted at in previous works, but it comes to fruition
here. It's a singular piece of music that doesn't overstay its welcome and resonates with me
more and more every pass-through.

Fun project with great riffs.
Helvetia Essential Aliens
All over the place in a good way. There's a lot of cool ideas here that take some listening to appreciate. Although some songs are fairly abstract and lack a chorus, bridge, etc., there is a tone that this album keeps consistently steady. Highlights like "Rocks on the Ramp" and "New Mess" just feel like really good 90's indie rock, albeit with a lot less agression. Fun stuff.

2.0 poor
Amine TwoPointFive
Nothing is remotely exciting on this mixtape except for the single, "Charmander." Some beats
fall terribly flat and some songs just never seem to find their footing. I was looking
forward to the progression of Amine after Limbo, but he didn't really deliver with anything
new.
And So I Watch You From Afar Successors
Rina Sawayama Hold The Girl

1.0 awful
Willow Smith Lately I Feel Everything
THis album sounds so thin and uninspired. By the end, I just couldn't handle her voice anymore. Nothing has punch, the songwriting has obnoxious hooks, and it wants to be way more hardcore than it actually is.
