| On Songs of Praise they showed potential, with some really nice tunes in there and also tracks that focus on the darker side of things. This record to me feels much darker, and at the same time more matured. Some songs on the latter half of the album go in a kind of less-fierce Daughters kind of direction (if Daughters did post punk by the numbers) that I can see people enjoying. |
