Deftones Ohms
When I realized the Deftones' new album dropped I have to admit I was pretty hyped.

Reading that it was a return to their heavy metal roots, I couldn't wait to listen...

Ok so by the end of Genesis I was sitting in my car parked at a super market like "YES!!"
blasting the hell out of it. By the end of Ceremony, & Urantia, Pompeji, Link is Dead,
Headless, Ohms... Deftones is fucking back. Long live Deftones!

You can really feel a renewed dedication to their art, there's an edge, yet it's
classical Deftones. It's everything you hope they will be, expect them to be, and they
are.

In this age of utter SHIT music where people no longer listen to rock in the same way as
generations past, this is a HUGE breath of fresh air. I mean, maybe as a Millenial I'm
more sensitive to it, and maybe due to the state of the pandemic/2020, but this couldn't
have come out at a better time. This album brings my focus back to the universal language
of music, one that transcends all else, one that brings peace, harmony, love, and truth.

We are all connected, we all feel the devastating pain, and the emotional triumph.

Thank you Deftones, I can't wait to see you again live...
