Lyrically this is her weakest record. While some themes and certain lines are solid, even great at times, it's filled with horrible, clunky lines, which most definitely don't fit the atmospheric, electronic style she and her producers were going for. Her songwriting worked on the pop-"rock" tinged debut album, but here it simply doesn't. Still, overall her best album, as it shows more ambition and a desire to grow and mature as a musician. Favorites: Witness, Roulette, Deja Vu, Bon Appetit, TsunamiYears and Years Palo SantoThe mixture of stylish uptempos and deeper ballads helps create the desired soundscape, although the musically ligher songs like Preacher or If You're Over Me feel weak compared to the "darker" (and catchier) productions and melodies of the other poppier songs, such as Karma or Palo Santo. Thematically and lyrically very fitting, overall the album feels like a more polished and focused version of their previous effort.
