Pearl Jam is the only rock band formed in the early 90s that dont have a really really bad album in their discography. Sure, there are some albums more experimental or consistent than others, but they never released a album capable of alianate or divide their fan base, like Amnesiac, Zeitgeist or Ratitude. I do think the album starts quite strong with tracks like Who ever said and Quick Escape, but then it goes a little off the rails in the middle section, only to recover in the end with a trio of beautiful ballads.
Some people might complain about the album inconsistency, but i think Gigaton is just another solid pearl jam album. |
