Contrary to the popular opinion, I personally liked Defy. It was a good rock album. From there, I think the band has made some progress in the right direction. E&S has got some soild tracks. Linger, meltdown, the mountain and gravedancer are my personal favorites apart from the singles. Some songs sound a bit weird. Verse and chorus don't seem to go well together in those songs. I also feel like after a point Aaron Pauley's vocals become predictable and boring. I think they are in a dire need of a bassist who can sing. This will be better for their live shows as well as their sound. rThis album is somewhere in between average and good. But considering their previous work and their contribution to my taste of music, I give them 3.2.5 averageDayseeker SleeptalkThis album will grow on me I hope, like their past albums. Rory has one of the best vocals in the scene but they are not utilized well this time I think.
