Then it told me about the hook one, whatever it's called. I listened to that and liked when it shifted into the weird vox/synth, and was like... if these are the best singles on the album, I'm literally breaking up with KD forever.rThen the album came out and I listened on my phone, and wrote it off. Then listened in my car. Then headphones. And now I can't stop listening to it. I would have given it a fucking 0 but now I'm up to 4.5. I feel like this is Toby applying how insanely weird he is to "singer songwriter" music. It doesn't really feel like KD anymore though. I do feel like he should have released this as a kind of dressed up solo album. rBut honestly so much of it is so haunting and weird that I've grown to love it. tbh I felt disappointed by 80% of hubardo, and confused by both phobos and coffins, but then liked both, mostly. rThis is just another weird fucking take by a weird fucking genius dude. It really shouldn't surprise us that he's just still surprising us and being weird.
