| For a band that hasn't put out an album in thirty years, not since I was a much younger self getting in to metal/hardcore, this surpassed all expectations. Orginal vocalist Tim sounds just as biting and intense as ever. All of their particular style of chaotic groovy metalcore/mathcore remains with some more subtle hints of doom/punk/industrial. Modern production serves only as a benefit as well to ensure all the microdetails in the recording are there. |

| Yes, if your favorite bands are "Disturbed, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, Three Days Grace" then, I would not expect you would like this. This is sludgy, heavy, exploring the emotional weight of grief and healing. A depth not all metal bands can convey with such pin point intensity. |

| This my was first introduction to this band, and I am impressed. Technical Death metal skills mixed together with Converge/Dillinger Escape Plan. Hard hitting and dissonant but unlike other dissonant death metal bands such as Ulcerate, and while still a very chaotic, noisy album, I found it easy to digest and easy to enjoy |

| If I had to recommend a single pop punk album to hear this year, this is the easy choice. Honestly I haven't given much thought regarding The Dopamines, but they are going on 20 years, consistently putting out good albums in the Dillinger Four-style of gritty melodic punk. The new album is no disappointment. Songs here are fiery, well produced, and lyrically strong. I just need to remind myself to come back and listen to them more. |

XII.... returns to this amongst a large list of guests that take the album through black metal, hungarian folk, psychedelic synth rock in way that it could be separate distinct albums but still works together as a whole |
| To The Grave Everybody’s A Murderer |
Yes, this relies on the some basic early 2000s deathcore fundamentals (perhaps even more so than
other releases). The low tuned chuggy guitars with tremolo lines and a vocal array consisting of
snarls, growls, and some hardcore blends. This is not, however, "generic heavy garbage", but well
executed, well produced, passionate music. The heaviness is here, the atmosphere is there, and the
vocals actually take a step up from previous releases. |

| For a band that's been putting out quality albums for over twenty years, it's a joy when a new albums comes up. That being said, this won't go down as one of their best. While a few tracks manage to stand out, such as War Is The Father Of All, it struggled to keep my attention for the duration of the album. The Killswitch Engage cover (with Jesse) thrown in at track 10 was particularly unnecessary and could of well been put with the 'bonus' disc 2. |

| It's impossible to talk about the new album without comparing Trevor's vocals with longtime guitarist, Brian, taking over. And....it's solid. Trevor's imprint is embedded with this band but Brian has his own unique sound albeit without the same power behind it. I wouldn't call it a step back as the drum barrage and guitar riffs are as masterful as they've ever been |

| Deathcore sound that's fresh from the early 00's, with hardcore and metalcore influences, ie the Acacia Strain or Suicide Silence. While that may be an automatic turn off for some, it's done well and was an enjoyable listen. Lyrics, far from cringe, revolve around a character whose psychological state deteriorates throughout the album and are at times, amusing and intelligent. |

Theres enough blending of metalcore, prog, folk, post- rock to keep things interesting but not enough to stand out as one of the years best. Production could also be improved as sometimes felt too compressed. |

The new singer while talented, his stylistic opera for 67 minutes became less enjoyable to sit through. Some guests as well for violin, vocals, and folk elements which were some of my favorite elements here. Overall all though I prefer the older funeral doom rather than this new, gothic based band. |

Not just musically, but lyrically. There's still some nice riffage, a few poignant verses but nothing like they used to be. It's like they got together and decided we're old...we're old and we don't have the fight left in us. So this is record is essentially the dad rock Propagandhi. |

This is a fun and experimental album, worth a listen or 2" and then gives the album a 4. Oki doki.rThis is not a good album. My biggest hinderance to this band has been the vocals, which can be a matter of taste, but objectively, they sound even worse here, in fact, sounded down right fake. Musically, which has at least been interesting at times didn't help either. Mixing different genres with metal can be done well, ie Zeal&Ardor, but here....it feels like it was dialed in, with generic stamped all over every song. THERE IS NOTHING SPECIAL HERE! |
