This album's emotional premise elicits pure pain out of the listener as we hear of Phil's coping
with his wife's death. The events that Phil describe here are told with such painstaking detail,
to the point where these events are able to start haunting the listener, as they feel like they
were there, just as helpless and lost as Phil was in the moment. This album is painful to listen
to, but I think that is a strength, not a weakness. Phil is just sharing tales and stories about
him and his wife, and beckons listeners to hear his stories, what they do with these stories is
not his choice to make. I listened, and I can say that this album is something special when I can
feel such a range of emotions for people I had never even heard of prior to this release. Phil,
may you and your wife find peace.

This album is fantastic in every sense of the word. Every song brings something fascinating to the table, and, on top of it all, Natalie's voice is absolutely stunning. The harmonies and lyrics elevate this album beyond any pop album I've heard this year. One of the best of the year for sure.

Eclectic rap that strangely feels somewhat accessible. The production blows my mind, and the beats and flows are insane. The features feel great, as all of them feel right at home here, and add their own style to this amalgamation of different sounds. One of the best rap albums of the year by far.

Strangely intriguing and abrasive synth-pop that has managed to capture my attention for longer than I feel it should have. Too many songs I love from this album, Earfquake, A Boy Is A Gun, What's Good, Gone Gone/ Thank You, Are We Still Friends, and more. Tyler has crafted something special here, and I'm left wondering if he'll continue this new direction, or go back to his roots on his next album.

Pretty good alt-country album from Big Velvet himself. Some fun and creative styles here that,
while they aren't groundbreaking and original, they are enjoyable and well done. Genres
are being consistently blended with outlaw country, making for a pretty rocking time.

This album is a bit more commercial than previous endeavors, but that doesn't necessarily make it bad. It's got quite a few enjoyable songs on here. They've definitely gone more into a "rock band" sound than a "metal" sound here, but it's still enjoyable if the style change is taken as they're just trying something a little bit different. I don't hate softer Volbeat, I just wish there was more of a blend between the old and the new, because this album doesn't really have any "metal" songs on it.

An awful attempt at melding trap rap and metal of all things, this album has an identity crisis that sees this album being unable to pick a target audience. Is it for metal fans or rap fans? As a fan of both, I can say this album fails to appeal to me in any sense. I can kind of commend these guys for trying something unique, but I will not say that it's a worthwhile product at ALL.
