This is probably one of their better live releases and filmed Blu-Ray's. Their singer James Labrie sounds much better here
than he has on other live releases, and their drummer Mike Mangini really puts on a show. The mix is nice, and everything is
fairly audible. Oddly enough, the audience is more audible in this release than the Live at Luna Park release, which had
thousands more people in attendance. I am a fan of live concerts sounding live, not like they are recorded in a studio. The
only downside is the setlist. Illumination Theory is not one of their better songs and it takes up twenty minutes of the show.
The real highlights of the show are Trial of Tears and Breaking All Illusions. If you are interested in Dream Theater and want
to see a live show from them, this is an excellent starting point for beginners or for fans who want to get a little more live
experience from the ol' prog Dreaming Theater.

I?ve given this album a good couple listens and think my opinion might have initially been influenced by some of the negative opinions of the time and the band themselves. On my own, I?ve really come to see this album as a real highlight of the band?s discography and part of an era where they were making some really excellent music (Viva La Vida, X&Y, A Rush of Blood to the Head).

The filming crew did an excellent job filming this concert and the mix is outstanding. The setlist features a nice mix of newer stuff in the first Act and then a full performance of their classic album Scenes From a Memory. James Labrie might not have the voice he once did, but he gets the job done and does much better in the second half when his voice is warmed up. Mike Mangini had big shoes to fill when he joined to replace Mike Portnoy, but them shoes fit just right. Highlights have to be Pale Blue Pot and A Nightmare to Remember - the band still sounds as tight as ever. Definitely check it out if you are a fan of the band or a fan of Progressive Rock/Metal.

The production can range from okay to decent to horrendous. The vocals can range from tolerable to downright brutal. One of Dream Theater's worst live releases without a doubt.
