This album is the confessional of a thug, and it's amazing.Eminem The Slim Shady LPGreat Story Telling, Great beat selection, smooth flow and zany depictions of violence. The Slim Shady Lp is incredibly classic, without a doubt in the top 10 albums of it's genre.Kid Cudi Man on the Moon: The End of DayMood, Melodic, Influential and classic. rwith it's cinematic layout, put ontop of amazing songs, it makes for a type of smash Cudi would not be able to recapture Nas Illmatica classic album. Almost a concept album in so many ways and shapes and forms that NaS can find to tackle street life over the 10 tracks. The Production in 25 years has not been dated, nor has the lyricism or the flows. Nas It Was WrittenIf Illmatic was showing nas as a raw street thug, It Was Writtne is NaS showing himself a mature, intelligent thug.rIt Was Written is on the same level of quality, with a different pillar completely. rThe Wolfe Tones Rifles of the I.R.A.handful of classics. the less notable tracks on here are still very calming songs, filled with typical Irish music charm. 4.5 superbNas StillmaticAltough the 2 weak tracks of filler (Smokin' and My Country) let down the other 12 songs of lyrical creativity, conscious material and never before seen levels of flow from NaS. Superb album 4.0 excellentNas NASIRClassy, Nostalgic production from Kanye. NaS smooth and laid back delivery matches it perfectly, and I find the underlying themes of investing in the youth to be quite different from the modern conscious scene Nas The Lost TapesTop Class production, start to finish. The only truly bad elements over the 11 tracks is that it was never allowed to improve Nastradamus, the weakest link in a solid and consistent career 3.5 greatNas Hip Hop Is DeadHip Hop Is Dead shows NaS on his ever present level of greatness, with a bump up in production. unfortunately the track "Who Killed it" is awful, showing NaS attempts at out there concepts falling flat. And the majority of the album is off-topic, still some great songs off topic, but a album titled hip hop is dead is a tiny bit more demanding. The Chieftains The Long Black Veila good, traditional album that is very much what I wanted. The only let down is some of the foreign features like mick jagger, who took some of the focus off the folk element I was looking for out of this album The Wolfe Tones At Their Very Best LiveSome of the vocal ranges make the original sound a tiny bit butchered. For a live album, very good, and when you can't even listen to some of the studio versions, damn good for what it is.3.0 goodNas God's SonA very Strong Start, Weak Middle, Solid End.rSome very classic songs on here like Get Down, Made you Look, Last Real, I can, Dance, Heaven, Thugz Mansion, ETC.2.0 poorNas I Am...mediocre song after mediocre make for a painful experience which I don't desire to go back to. Nas barely even engages in most ways, frustrating the 3 tracks which are good. (NaS is Like, We Will Survive and Undying Live). Production has not aged well.1.5 very poorEminem Encoreaside from a strong open, the album takes a sharp decrease before hitting rock bottom and producing some of his worst songs like Puke, Ass Like That, My First Single, Big Weenie and so on.Nas NastradamusThe 2 good tracks (Come Get Me and Project Windows) and a bunch of weak styles which saw NaS try to cross over into mainstream with none of his signature charm and style. a weak project overall
