| This is what happens when a heavy band tries too hard to become big and get attention rdesperately. Typing "Spite Band" in Google searches, you will find the links to their facebook rpage and website with shit like "SPITE CULT MOTHER FUCKER". I don't know any other deathcore band rtries this hard to be all edgy, hard or br00tal like this band does. I would've loved this band rso badly if I was still that one deathcore kid I was in high school. Good thing I didn't or I rwould cringe at my younger self since this would be my equivalent to a 15 year old scene girls rphase with Bring Me The Horizons Sempiternal and That's The Spirit. Opening song 'IED' is nothing rmore than a sad 3 minute breakdown. Legit, one breakdown at the start, in the middle and at the rend. The exact same riff is being played for the whole song besides it being slowed down. rVocalist throws in some angry constipated screams and gutterals, fits in well if you like garbage rdeathcore. 'Kill Or Be Killed' uses the exact same song structure and patterns as the opening rsong. Plus, I don't really get the hype over the vocalist, his highs sound like Marge Simpson. rPure monotony. |
