For me, Heriot are at their best when they're not doing straightforward song structures. If they
went full 'post' / shoegaze but with their trademark heaviness and the songs were longer and had
more time to breathe, they would be exceptional. Visage is a case in point, excellent song, but
much too short. Either way, will look forward to whatever they put out next. |
