A testament to the songwriting and the talent to execute it!4.5 superbNecropanther Eyes of Blue LightThrashy melodic death metal that flows perfectly. With epic gurgled roaring vocals to top it all off. Voyager Ghost MileEasily one of my favorite "light" heavy metal albums, perfect for just about anyone, or when you need a break from pummeling brutal albums. Full of mostly clean singing, with just the right amount of low end crunch to remove any doubt this is heavy metal.4.0 excellentHallatar No Stars Upon the BridgeOne of the better doom albums in recent memory. You can just tell a ton of emotion went into the making of this.Hannes Grossmann The Crypts Of SleepNot overly technical, not overly progressive, just the right amount of both on this excellent death metal album.Horizon Ablaze The Weight Of A Thousand SunsMostly blackened death metal, with a hint of progressive technical djent. Yeah, that can't work, right? Wrong, which is why this album is so great. Props to great songwriting for pulling this all together so nicely.King Goat ConduitAmazing vocals, and music that fits it perfectly. The song Conduit was one of the best songs I heard all year.Nailed To Obscurity King DelusionAs far as death metal goes, this album flows better than most.Redemptor ArthaneumDense, controlled, different tech death with crushing vocals. The Antichrist Imperium Volume II Every Tongue Shall Praise SatanA fair amount of changes in pace that still flow nicely. A lot of interesting stuff going on here. One of my favorite discoveries of 2018 so far.The Atlas Moth Coma NoirMost people hate on the vocals. I admit they sometimes can tarnish an otherwise excellent musical experience.Trials This Ruined WorldOne of the best Thrash albums in years. It's too bad the band broke up after this album.Usurpress InterregnumGrandiose. Dark. Atmospheric. And that's just the beginning.3.5 greatThe Konsortium RogalandBlackened thrash metal with a sprinkle of folk / progressive here and there. What a delicious recipe.3.0 goodObed Marsh Innsmouth3.0 on vocals alone. He might actually be possessed.Serdce TimelessnessAvante-garde, experimental, progressive death metal that's still enjoyable. What an interesting beast.
