Night Verses Every Sound Has a Color...: Part I
Watching Aric Improta play drums on youtube for over a decade makes me grateful that Night Verses is a vehicle to get more of that sweet percussion in my ears. It really helps that the rest if the band is god tier talent as well. rIf anyone hasn't seen it, please watch Aric jam with the Protest The Hero's (newer) bassist on youtube: My Son, the Leopard. Still one of my favorite things in the world of music.

Gunship Unicorn
Super fun listen. This is a band I often pull out when coworkers ask me to throw a song on an outing playlist and I am definitely not Throwing on The Callous Daoboys.rUnicorn has massive variety and GunShip stay the kings and queens of the Synthwave revival for me.

Thrice The Artist in the Ambulance (Revisited)
Paper Tigers is the standout here. New production sounds great. Commenters above already nailed it, sounds exactly like they do live in all the best ways. Instrumentals shine here, while the vocal work is generally good it can be a weak point in some spots. I enjoy the guest vocals. This is not trying to be the definitive version of these songs in my opinion, just to celebrate and remember them.r
