Unfortunately Poster Child is truly awful and preceded by another dud in Not the One. On top of that, while the individual songs are generally creative, it ends up coming across as a little one note. There's a lack of variation in the tempos and Kiedis existing in the same register on pretty much every song. This album needed a real banger and 2 or 3 songs cut to be considered a classic.
