The only problem with the album is that it is almost entirely the perfect Blues of old. I enjoy it because I love this stuff. However, there is a bit of a lack of progressiveness and creativity. Most of the songs feel almost like rehashed songs because they fall so typically into the classic Blues style. I like the album because I love that style of music and Christone is clearly a fantastic musician. Comrades For We Are Not Yet, We Are Only BecomingI was conflicted between choosing either good or great. It is a great album but it's not great when you compare it to their previous work. I was a little disappointed in the lack of progress as a band with this release. They are a great band but they didn't take any notable steps forward with this album.
